Who looks after your information

A1RM is currently operated by Tom Rushman, trading as A1RM, in the United Kingdom. Tom is responsible for the personal information A1RM collects for its own purposes. For questions, privacy requests or to withdraw consent, email hello@a1rm.co.uk.

This notice covers our pre-launch website, launch list, enquiries and sample testing. Our first tee is still in development. This site does not currently take product orders or payments. We will update this notice before introducing new uses of personal information.

The launch list

If you choose to join, we use your email address to send A1RM launch news and product updates. We rely on your consent. We keep your subscription status and a record of when and how you subscribed. Please complete the email confirmation step before expecting updates. Joining does not reserve a product or commit you to a purchase.

You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in an update or by emailing us. Enquiries and tester submissions do not add you to the launch list. We do not buy or sell mailing lists.

Enquiries and sample feedback

When you contact us, we receive your email address, any name you provide, your message and our correspondence. We use these to answer and follow up on your enquiry. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact A1RM; where you specifically request steps towards a purchase, the basis may be taking those steps at your request. Please avoid sending health information, personal measurements or unnecessary information about other people.

Tester feedback and optional photos are collected through Tally with your separate consent for private sample evaluation. They are not automatically published or used for marketing. Agreeing that we may contact you about publication is not permission to publish. We seek a separate agreement about the exact photo or quote, display name, channels and duration before publication. Website information and cookies

Shopify hosts this website and processes information such as your IP address, browser and device details, page interactions, and information you submit through its forms. Necessary cookies and similar technologies help operate and protect the site and remember privacy choices. We rely on our legitimate interest in running a secure, usable website for necessary processing, and consent where required for optional analytics, marketing and personalisation technologies.

Shopify’s cookie banner is configured for UK visitors. Where the banner is displayed, you can accept or reject optional cookies and change your choice through Cookie preferences. If that control is unavailable, your browser settings can block or clear cookies; blocking necessary cookies may affect website features. Refusing optional cookies does not subscribe or unsubscribe you from the launch list. More information about Shopify's cookies is available in its cookie policy.

Our Shopify forms use hCaptcha to help prevent spam. This service processes technical and interaction information for security checks. See hCaptcha’s privacy policy.

Service providers and sharing

We use Shopify for the website, subscription records and store email tools; Zoho Mail for enquiries and correspondence; and Tally for private tester submissions. Providers and their authorised service providers process information needed to supply and protect those services. Tester notification emails can contain answers and private file links. We restrict access to the people who need it to run A1RM and do not publish private submissions.

Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled for this store. Shopify may combine information about interactions with A1RM, other merchants and Shopify to provide and improve enhanced services, including personalisation and advertising features, subject to applicable privacy choices. For these uses Shopify is responsible for its processing. See the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and Shopify Privacy Portal for details and rights requests. Other merchants do not receive access to A1RM's private customer list through this feature.

See also Zoho's privacy policy and Tally's privacy information. Provider processing may take place outside the UK. Where required, international transfers use recognised safeguards such as adequacy decisions or approved contractual safeguards. Contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your data. We may also disclose the minimum information necessary to meet a legal obligation or handle a legal claim.

How long we keep information

• Launch list: while you remain subscribed and the launch-news and product-update purpose continues. We remove you from active marketing when you unsubscribe, and remove information no longer needed if the project or this purpose ends. We keep only the limited consent and suppression records needed to demonstrate and respect your choices.
• Enquiries: until the enquiry and necessary follow-up are complete, then only as long as needed for a related unresolved issue, legal obligation or claim. We review and remove information that is no longer needed.
• Private tester feedback and photos: up to 12 months from submission unless you separately agree to continued use. Deleted Tally records can remain in recoverable Trash for up to a further 90 days. Anonymous fit findings may be kept. Any agreed public content has its own permission and duration.
• Technical information: for the period needed to operate and secure the service, honour privacy choices and meet provider retention requirements. Cookie durations vary by purpose; see Shopify's cookie information above.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct or delete your information, restrict its use, receive a portable copy, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can object to direct marketing at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal. We may need limited information to verify a request.

Email hello@a1rm.co.uk to exercise these rights. You can also complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office. A1RM does not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about you solely by automated means.

Our pre-launch activities are intended for adults. Please contact us if a child has provided personal information so we can address it. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Links to other websites are governed by their own privacy practices.

We will revise the date above when this notice changes and provide any further notice or request for consent that a change requires.
